RZ H1 coverall question

Hey guys.I was wondering if you guys can help me answer a question.I just bought a carharttX02 and i been reading on how to weather it.I notice they instruct on cutting out the lining on the inside of the coverall. Why do we have to cut the lining?what purpose does that serve?. or it just to be more movie accurate?thanks for your time

Hello*

I just did a pair myself. The thing is with the inner lining removal, that is how they did it for the movie. My common sense tells me that they did that so as to make the coveralls… mmmm? … more pliable? Not as bulky for Tyler? and not just for him but for anyone I spose. With the lining removed, the material becomes easier to ‘break down’ … make softer so they essentially fit like a regular pair of say cotton coveralls. At least thats my take on it.

HOWEVER* I just sold a pair not long ago that were weathered up nicely and THEY still had the liner inside of them. The way the dude musta did them is just washed them to death to loosen the fabric up. When I was wearing them they did not feel restricting in the least and actually would be nice if that was all you were going to wear out on a cold night say, meaning less under garments so to speak.

So its entirely up to you. Lining out = movie accuracy, comfortable fit/less bulk, easier to kind of weather up and work with
lining in = warmth, bulk (fake body mass- ) and maybe less easier to beat up to give the worn look.

its an either or sitch for you my friend*

hope this has helped.

J

thanks dude for the reply.makes sense with what you said.appreciate the comment:)
