One of the best Halloween fan films I’ve seen yet! You had actual production value, I can tell you put a lot of time into it. What type of camera do you shoot with? It mentions the film was edited on a Mac, so I’m assuming Final Cut Pro was the software? I always wanted to switch over to the Apple universe but it would be way to expensive to replace all my software and plop down thousands more on a Mac. :frowning:

But anyway, great film! I love these fan films…thanks so much for sharing.

ooooo…you should swich over to the Mac for Final Cut if the opportunity ever arises. You’ll not regret it.
And yes, fantastic fan film!

You don’t know how many hours I’ve spent looking at MacBook Pros online soooooooooo wanting one. My wife and I just bought a house in March so that pretty much put an end to that dream.

The film quality was nice with some fairly decent acting :sunglasses: and I liked some of the usage of shadows and such but I don’t know. 1st of all too much blood in the kill scenes and not enough left to the viewers imagination like Carpenters vision. 2nd … How on earth would the guy know it’s his cousin Michael coming down the hall. He only saw him one time after he was committed and he was wearing a mask  But a fun watch none the less. Even with my criticism I still appreciate the efforts it took to make this short fan film. Keep the coming. Mike

Did you shoot and cut this? If so what kind of camera are you working with? and steadicam?

Nice work!

(btw MAC ftw)

very nice thanks

I will say that it was a pretty entertaining movie to watch. Some things really stuck out at me at not making a whole lot of sense but what in a horror movie ever does?!

James

The film was shot on a JVC GY HD100 (1080 res / 24P)
