Score! A Nightmare on Elm Street life-sized Gemmy Freddy Krueger animatronic from Lowes! I wanted this for many years now but every time I checked they were gone, or when I waited until after Halloween to hopefully get one on clearance. But this time I checked early and saw two there, and no one else was even looking at Halloween stuff now because they all say “it is too early” lol. Well not when Halloween and horror is your life and job 365 days a year it is never too early baby, JEAH! Lol.
The Jason was pretty cool too, the unlicensed Halloween II Myers not so much, sounds like Christmas music without the original Halloween theme, and horrible looking mask and blue coveralls lol. But cool for a Halloween prop. I might get them all one day and dress them up in my custom made clothes and masks. Freddy though was especially great overall, especially the face and voice and overall look. I might add a more accurate sweater and hat sometime, but the clothes are usually cheap and very lightweight on these so they move properly and do not break from heavier fabric.
So it is great as is for a life-sized Freddy prop! I always wanted a permanent one to keep up, or animatronic, since I have to use my mannequins all the time for many different costumes. So now I got one baby, “AHAHAHAHA!!!” Freddy said “there was no escaping” him in the store and he was right lol.
Nice score man! Yeah, I’ve seen these, and honestly, the Elm Street stuff is probably the best of the bunch at Lowe’s considering the Freddy lights play the actual theme song.
Yeah the Myers is not licensed so it plays like Christmas music and Michael does not look too good lol. But Freddy had a long rest now so he looks the best, Michael is burnt out lol. The Remake Jason is not too bad and plays Friday the 13th sounds and Pamela Voorhees talking. Chucky is not too bad either. But Freddy is definitely the best and the face and head look great and has great voice, sounds, and music.
Woah! I never seen one of these. I need to check my local Lowes. I’ve seen a Michael Myers animatronic before at Spirit Halloween, though, but never a Freddy one.
Yeah they only get a few it seems, and they go quick so I am glad I got mine right away as they got gone the next few days. You can order them online too when they have them.
Finally got this “Nightmare On Elm Street Freddy Krueger Animated Animatronic by Gemmy” fixed! It came with the base broken completely off inside as well as the top being shattered and ready to come off as well.
