Scout says only if it doesn’t suck and there’s some real development time behind it.

H3 could continue what Rob made without him if it doesn’t suck.
I support the main cast and what they want, but I still wish Rob had one more in him to make this a trilogy, and then again I’m actually ok with it stopping where it is as well.
To many things in play to be for or against it now.

I think if Tyler,Scout and Brad all retake their roles it would do wonders for the series to continue.
While im open to it, after seeing the Directors cut, I am happy with the closure provided for the characters.
I would hope that Halloween III would succeed to continue with the storyline that Rob started rather than head off in another direction. I think there is still room for one more conclusive story with this vision. Even though the Directors Cut ending was reasonably final I believe that there is still scope, based on the ending of the TC, to expand on the universe Zombie created. I would hope that Scout returns along with Tyler and Brad. I also feel it would be a good idea to give Margot Kidder the opportunity to allow her character Barbara the chance to inherit the “Dr. Loomis” crown. It would be interesting to have a female play the “Loomis” type role. Just because the TC ends with Laurie in the asylum doesn’t mean that the story has to continue in this location. I just hope whoever takes over the role of Director and Screenwriter will honour in some way Robs style so that it isn’t too far from what he started.
Id like to see scout do something OTHER than halloween. I think she has potential.
Scout has incredible potential. She was truly great in Halloween II. I think there will be great things ahead for her. Plus she is super nice and super friendly. She’s got the whole package.
They shouldnt even make h3, i mean rob tried his best to make it soo michael dies and even on the comercial it said “Rob Zombie completes his terrifying vision of a legend” you know?

Sadly, not to shoot the rumor down, but the way I’m hearing it, Halloween 3 will have nada to do with Rob’s work. Total rehaul.
Much like everything in Hollywood, this can change, but so far I’m told full steam ahead on another re-telling of Halloween.
Agreed, she is doing Runaways so thats a pretty solid move for her. I think she will be doing good things coming up, her personality is great.

im not sure i would be up for a sequel to rz H2, to me the charcters have ran their course and are now all dead. i like to think of laurie dying with loomis and michael in the DC. o.k so we know some how Michael could survive but for loomis to survive a 2nd encounter with Michael is just alittle too much. and to let scout ‘laurie’ live for another one is too out there, she was completely bat sh*t crazy by the end of H2, so if she lived through that ordeal then the very last scene of H2 would be the reality that she is just white wall looney bin crazy now. i wouldnt even want to see how they would approach that and write that into the film. so my vote LAURIE IS DEAD, LOOMIS IS DEAD, the only characters left is sheriff bracket and ofcourse there is no Halloween without bringing back Michael like they have 9 times in the past.
RZ H1 and H2 are my favorite Halloweens since the original first two but i dont want to keep rolling the dice on it.
i think Rob took Halloween to a new permanent level. it was innovative and will inspire who ever the next writer and director is to compete with it on a more serious note.
i dont think we will see anymore cheezy, Hollywood Halloweens like all the mid sequels are. at least not to the suck level of H5, H6, or resurrection.
for the 1st time i also think it should end with RZH2, but if h3 will happen, i had some ideas.
It would follow the directors cut:
- laurie is alive, but in a coma at a mental hospital
- during the beginning, michael sees a vision of his mother saying that he failed or somethin like that, that way we can acknowldge it, but then not have to deal with the visions (which also increases michaels rage)
- Michael obviously tries to come after Laurie, but on his way, relives his love for killing baby sitters
- during the movie, we see these horrific images and dreams/world laurie seeing
-Bracket becomes in a way a new Loomis, and becomes obsessed with trying to find michael becuase he knows he’s still alive and wants revenge - now we also dont know if michael is trying to find laurie because his mother told him to, or if because he now blames her and wants to just kill her
- Michael gets his mask by running acoss Chett “The Bringer Of Death”, who being obsessed with michael, made a replica mask (not sure if it would have the scars or plain original white)
still not sure if loomis is alive or not. depends. i still need to make all these odeas into a full story

I personaly would love to see Scout complete her role as Laurie in H3.
But I’m not putting my hopes in that the new script will be worth the hype.
Scout has come along way since her ‘starting days’ in acting. I can remember her role in the ‘Gilmore Girls’ and she’s deffinatly getting better at what she does, but if she feels if the script aint good enough for her to act out then I fully believe it aint worth watching. She’s said a number of times she loves the horror industry and know what makes a good horror.
She said she also feels the remakes in this series is going to far so I’m guessing she’s had her fill of it now. But I know she’s deffinatly done a good job with the remakes she’s done so far.
