She was recently on jtv at a friend’s account. Many questions about Halloween 3D by fans. She has no plans on returning to the franchise. Any opinions?
I actually liked Scout Taylor Compton as Laurie Strode, she did well IMO. It’s too bad to hear she might not return, I guess we’ll see. …ANDY
I was able to meet her at horrorfind weekend last month and asked her about it. She wants to continue as Laurie but her exact words were Dimension films are being cunts! They don’t want anyone from Rob Zombies movie. She was kinda pissed about it. I think she did a good job myself and would like to see her back but I don’t think it’s going to happen. She was really awesome to talk to and meet.
With that being said then, I’m guessing 3D will be some sort of reboot then? Hmm…

That’s correct! She said they want to reboot the series once again. It would be awesome if they decided to bring her back and she said she’s all for it if she gets the call.

You really can’t blame her for being whiny and annoying that what Rob Zombie wanted his Laurie to be. She’s actually really cool in person.
Thought she was good in the remake and thankfully she didn’t try to copy what made JLC’s performance so good. She did even better in Zombie’s H2 and really elevated that character beyond being just a helpless teenager chased by a masked maniac.
