I received a sample SHAPEWEAR from Bliss, so I’d like to share a comparison with my own TRADEWEAR.
I think he did a perfect job.

I like how these turned out, can see a bit of excess fabric on one pocket but no doubt that will be fixed for the final production!
This is a perfect replica that could only have been created through a collaboration between the genuine TRADEWEAR and someone with proven expertise.
It’s unlikely that anyone will ever be able to create a better replica than this.
I agree, and these can be done in 36R too or other sizes like Big Macs are
Wow, that’s pretty high praise.
Whether he agrees or not, in my view, the effort and cost required to replicate these with total perfection simply don’t add up. On top of that, there are only a handful of original owners left today, and these pieces are so rare that another one might only surface once every few years, if at all. Even if someone wanted to make a replica, craftsmen almost never get the chance to reference the originals properly.
I personally shared all my information and technical knowledge with him free of charge, purely out of a sense of responsibility as an original holder and my dedication to the hobby. To be honest, I never want to deal with something this troublesome again! lol
Realistically, most people will likely never get their hands on a true screen-matched piece in their lifetime. That’s why I believe as long as he remains passionate about this hobby, this is your only real shot at getting a truly accurate replica.
Plus with these, they can be used and put through the ringer, all the while keeping the originals intact
At some point I do want to get a pair. Good to know they’re so accurate! I don’t wanna mess up my Tradewears.
Here is a Shapewear next to a 1:1 screen accurate (unaltered) Tradewear.
This person did a phenomenal job. His approach to building this replica reminded me of my own process with the knife. Lots and lots of time and meticulous passion.
He asked if I would make him a knife for one of his suits. Trade straight up. I said hell yeah, let’s go.
Then we found out China has some seriously STRICT rules about knives coming into their country. I ended up paying for the suit in the meantime.
This prompted the artist to try his hand at making himself a replica knife, too. I gave him some measurements off my 102-12 and wish him the best of luck.
If I can ever find some frikin downtime, I’ll do a proper showcase of the Shapewear.
Receiving such high praise from Marcjoner and Hedge—true connoisseurs who actually own one of the rare originals—is the ultimate honor. Thank you so much! Please keep your original safe and sound, and take the SHAPEWEAR to conventions in its place!
I lucked out and found a pair of black label Tradewears at a local flea market. Got them for $30 in 42L. If I could only find the 102-12 knife (or a steel replica), my outfit will be complete…
That’s a converted H2-style piece.
The angle of the buttonholes is different.
Also, different patterns are used for all the pockets, and the proportions of the upper and lower body are significantly different.
What’s even more critical is that the waistband has a different construction and stitching; so, when converting vintage pieces, Montgomery or BIGMAC are better options for recreating a superior look.
What mask is this?
Oh sweet thought I was the only one! You got the OGs as well correct?
Is a Freddy Loper / AHG nightmare
So I guess if I’m really curious about something, it’s how you find them compared to Creepy Customs. He’s obviously the most well-known in the coverall game at the moment, so any coveralls by other artists invites the comparison.
When comparing things, is it really necessary to put one above the other—even if it means belittling the other?
I lined up the OG model right next to it and compared them side by side, down to the smallest details.
By doing so, you can make a well-informed decision about what is truly accurate.
If you’re still unsure, I think you should go with the one that’s better known![]()
I don’t believe comparing requires belittling. Unlike mask makers or painters, there just aren’t a whole lot of other names in the game when it comes to coveralls, so I am simply curious.
