Screen accurate Halloween 1978 Myers costume complete! *UPDATED WITH PHOTOS*

Hi guys,

I just completed all of the purchases for my screen accurate H1 1978 costume this year and couldn’t be more excited. After doing a lot of research this is what I got:

  1. Black undershirt for Halloween 78’ Michael Myers (corrected)

  2. Real Halloween 78’ movie accurate Jungle Boots (updated) - these are perfect! Go for the regular tread pattern. They have limited sizes but these are the REAL DEAL Michael Myers boots. I bought them in a size 13 narrow regular tread. I usually wear size 12-13 range in shoes and my feet are pretty narrow so I hope they are a good fit. If not, I’ll only wear them 1x per year on Halloween anyway so I can tough it out if they’re not too comfortable! Lol.

Will post a photo with everything on in this thread once received. Everything should come in pretty quick but the Ghost 78’ mask will take a couple to few weeks to receive as Chris from WMP Masks makes them custom.

The shirt is black, the Heather Navy shirt is only used in the new trilogy

The boots were Olive drab Jungle boots with a vibram sole, so unless you’re doing the Halloween Kills flashback look, they aren’t screen accurate

I stand corrected you are 100% right! I’ll wear a black tee for the undershirt and return the heather navy shirt I ordered! You can clearly see the undershirt is black in the attached photo, thank you! :pray:t2:

That shot is a bad one, cause the real coverall colour is Tex Green, which is what you see in my shot

Where do you all find these BTS photos? Is that one in the gallery? If so, I must have missed it. I’ve never seen that one.

Im assuming the price of the gristlebox coveralls are more on the pricey side?

Message Brad from Gristlebox on IG or FB and ask him. He had a 42L in stock that I just bought. I think he has a 46L left. That’s for H1. He usually custom makes them all but occasionally may have stock and I got very lucky he had a pair in my size :pray:t2:

tex green is “screen accurate” if that’s what you’re truly after. redkaps don’t come in tex green.
