When trying to use reference pics for a rehaul it gets confusing. Some photos base paint looks more white and on others looks yellowish. So which is it?
It depends on the copy. I’m not sure if they used multiple for any primary shots, but it appears from trailers that the MAIN look/scheme is the warmer ivory tone and not the whiter look. Hope that helps!
Yeah. Just wasn’t sure how white or “vanilla/Manila” it should be. The paints I have are unleached titanium, white titanium, raw sienna, burnt umber and mars black. And using liquid latex with it
There is more than one screen used mask. Won’t spoil anything. And again these are lower resolution screen shots I took on my phone. One of the masks is outside. The other is behind glass in a dim convention floor.
It is definitely not as white as some rehauls are coming. More of a skeleton yellow color in my opinion.
Why does it appear more whit on the outside pic? Lighting?
Here’s what sucks about it
Depending on Camera white balance and lighting. It being a “white” canvas can look completely different depending on tungsten or daylight sources.
