Hey everyone, I know in the original first two films I hear a lot about the coveralls being “sears tradeWear” and “Sears Work and Leisure” but then I see a-lot of people saying “Big Mac” was the brand also. Does anyone know the exact information about this topic?! Thanks!
It’s sears tradewear, JC penny has been debunked, it was originally thought of as JC Penny big macs because majority of the outfits in halloween 1978 was bought from jc penny, the coveralls in the film also look very similar to the big macs as well. Big macs were also a popular brand back then.
Sears all the way IMO. I have a few pairs in different colors of both Sears and Big Macs, and I’d definitely say the Sears are more in line with the specs you’d see on the '78 pair. Also don’t discount some of the artists that make replicas like Creepy Customs and Gristle Box for example. They make great replica models that rival even some of the originals you can snag out in the wild.
