Should Danielle H be in the new Halloween movies?

Hey everyone, I’m sure alot of you know Danielle Harris has been lobbying to be in the new Halloween movies for awhile now. Danielle is a fan favorite amongst many as Jamie Lloyd in Halloween 4 and 5 …as well as her appearances in Rob Zombie’s Halloween films. With that said do you feel Danielle should be in these new movies ? Should she have been in H40? Your thoughts?..

I wouldn’t want to see her. She had her cameo comeback in Zombie’s awful remakes. That ruined the way I see her now.

The only way I would accept her coming back is if they did a sequel to H4 down the road.

I actually wrote up a concept for a story if they were to ever do that, and it most likely wouldn’t fly with fans of Michael Myers because he wouldn’t be in it, only in visions.

Basically she would be the one in a mental institution all these years after stabbing her foster mother, who did die by her hand in my version. She would be set free some 35 years later seemingly reformed and sound of mind, but once she’s out she doesn’t seem right. Murders start happening, and the town of course believes Myers is back.

After a night of Hell, we find out it was her the whole time, taking up the mantle her Uncle left behind. I laid the kills out so they make sense as far as why she wouldn’t be overpowered in certain situations. Her style would very much be a lot of stalking, sneaking around and catching victims by surprise.

Yes she would be wearing the traditional Myers mask and coveralls, but we would only see her from waist down, over the shoulder or from a distance. Careful camera angles will hide the height and stature, combined with boots that make her taller. That way we the audience actually start believing it’s Myers. But as more is revealed near the end, and more angles are shown to expose her height and stature, we start realizing it’s definitely not Myers. By the end, it’s revealed to have been her all along.

This would be a great idea, though I’m just wondering if it would get compared to Friday the 13th Part 5 with the imposter Jason, or the Scream franchise

Thanks man. I thought about that as well. When I wrote this a few years ago I did think about that, so I attempted to make it feel at least fresh and different even though it does share a similar formula.

If I get around to it I will edit it down to a condensed version that I will post on here, then everyone can have a read through it and see what they think.

Just all in the name of having a bit of fun with the idea.

No. It would likely confuse the casual movie-goer. We know what’s up, but I just don’t think it’s necessary, nor would it work. Don’t think they could offer her a proper role in this new timeline. It’s what it is.
