I personally think it would give her some ‘‘Huge’’ brownie points and make up for that awful RZ Crap!!

It would be really cool and a nice bit of fan service to have her and Jamie together at last, although I can see that not happening since they are wanting to ignore everything after part one,and having her in the film may add to the confusion of the timeline change.
Danielle is the perfect age to play her daughter,plus she has done it already, given the fact she has been a part of this series in such a big way, who better to carry on and even lead potential sequels than her? Am I right?
I would be all for her being setup to be the lead,since Jamie Lee is very likely to be finished after this. We all know Danielle would totally be down for returning in a more prominent way.
Not likely though,can’t see the studios going for that though,they want more star power to bring in the money.
She’s earned the right to be in this. Retconning the story is fine, but the fans don’t forget. She’s Laurie’s daughter and having her play the role right alongside Jamie Lee would be an honorable service to Danielle and the fans. Won’t happen of course, but IMO, it should be her and no one else.
Easy, YES some way. I still wish she got the daughter role, however.
I don’t blame her at all for RZ’s horrendous filth. She had an opportunity for a job and took it. But yeah, I am a bit resentful that they’re including “Laurie’s Daughter” but hiring a new actress to play a new character. I like Judy Greer, but this seems like a ridiculously massive missed opportunity.
That’s a good idea. Even if she plays a different part in the movie I’d be nice to have her in it.
She was one of the bright spots in the two remake films, but honestly I feel like bringing her back again after those wouldn’t really be special. I’m pretty happy with the closure we got between her and this franchise.
No, I think it’s time to move away from having DH in the new movie just because of her past relations to the other movies. I think this new movie needs to be taken seriously, and forget about the little cameo roles.
I would love to see her in it, obvious as a big fan of her. Unforunately I doubt they include her, but I would be all for it.
I say if they go the route of JLC being Michaels sister then yes
