Does anyone here own The Hiro mask from Sinister Studio? Im interested in getting one but I wanted to see if anyone here owns one or is thinking about getting one? Thanks everyone!
Can’t go wrong with a classic Hiro. I no longer own mine, but they are pretty wicked! I say do it!

I use to have one as well. Pretty decent H1 but it was a little tight on me. Not sure if he makes them in different sizes though.

The hair was decent. Hard to style but it kind of styles itself naturally. But overall pretty good
I love mine, so I really recommend it. As far as the hair, I DID spray it black with some spray in color and then ran a pick through it to make it less clumpy and more stringy, if that makes sense. I think it is Sinister’s best mask IMHO.

I’m not a huge fan of the sculpt but it’s a pretty nice mask from what I can tell. It just comes down to what looks good to you and seems like it’s worth the money. I think it stands up well to other masks in the price range.
Thanks! I did ask Cris at sinister for a custom finish with only very light weathering when I ordered it. Even with the custom order it was on my doorstep a week after I pressed the buy button. Good transaction.

I think the hiro looks great especially for the price! I’m actually thinking of picking one up myself!
Again, I know they aren’t particularly expensive or rare and that might hurt it’s value as a collectors item. However if you’re looking for a sweet mask, I think it’s really underrated. If you’re looking for something to wear on Halloween or to a convention, it’ll more than do the job. Mine was a big hit at a convention I took it to last year and I had a Trick-Or-Treater frightened to tears upon seeing me answer the door this year. If you’re not collecting these to make small children cry, you really have to ask what the point even is. 
Anyway, I think it looks better than other masks in the same price range (unless you find a deal here or on ebay.) I am sure with the right paint job and hair it could be really something. Just my two cents.
I purchased an obsession mask from Sinister studios early last year and I was quite impressed with it for the price I paid! Very nice sculpt. The hair was very good, but of course wasn’t spot on as far as color and puff. I’m debating going with the Hiro this time around! You just can’t beat that price!
