Seriously, two years ago I bought two masks, both were too small. FInally, I pulled the trigger on one this year and it fits, much better but not perfect. It’s a Sinister Studio S75. The mask was very nicely done and built very quick! I will admit, the camera takes very good shots, looks better on camera :laughing:

I will say, and it saddens me TO say, the mask looks much creepier NOT on my head. When I put it on, I feel like it distorts the beauty causing it to look, not so scary :confused:

I’m also a very picky fella, I LOVE the face, I really do (not when I’m wearing it though) but the hair is something left to be desired. Don’t take this the wrong way, nothing that Cris at SS did wrong, he laid it very nicely and it looks great, it’s just not the type of hair I like. I know there are many types of hair used on masks but I don’t know what one I truly love. There is a darker hair that I like more, it’s more of a natural looking hair, maybe like the hair on some of the NAG/JC masks I’ve seen? Speaking of hair, the hair came out a little darker in the pictures, in person, it’s a wee bit more blonde.

Thats a pretty cool looking mask. I actually like the hair fiber but my preference would be for it to be darker…did you request anything in particular?

No particular requests. I prefer darker hair as well but maybe I can de-hairspray it and then color it somehow?

I bought the same mask (size 25) last year from Chris of Sinister Studios for $169 on http://www.ioffer.com. I wore it for Halloween last year and after I wear it this upcoming Halloween, I hope I can find someone to buy it. I want to get rid of it, because I have a JTK H1 being made for me by Chris Morgan over at WMP. :smiley:

Thanks guys! Hey ishdiaz79, what mask is that in your avatar? That has the hair style I like. Would it be possible to have my hair redone or is that not a normal modification for these masks?

There are a ton of great artists on this site that can rehair your mask the way you want it…
Chris Morgan, Benny, JC, BadBox, Mayhem, AHG…just a few off the top of my head. Send them a PM.

I have an H78 retool as my avatar.
I sent mine to Chris Morgan from WMP to have it redone into an H2. Send him a PM.

I’ll shoot him a PM, thanks. I like the hair in your avatar photo better, your H2 has the same hair as on the one I just obtained. I’ll see what he recommends for the look I want :slight_smile:

I’d almost rather not, I don’t like the way the mask looks when I wear it… plus, I don’t have boots to wear :stuck_out_tongue:

If you guys really want, I can post some the next time I have company over to take real pictures of me. But, to hold you over, here is a simple back to back shot I took of the mask alone vs me wearing it… I don’t like it though, it makes me look like an anorexic michael myers :laughing:

It’s like I need to make some foam inserts to push out the sides of the mask, the neck especially, for it to look right.

I’m trying to style it right now actually, I’ll post a few pics after it’s done! I also purchased some boots and a knife off of a member on here so next week I can do some full costume shots :sunglasses:

Alright, I can’t take it anymore, I’m getting it re-haired!! It just doesn’t look right at all when I style it, it’s too poofy and fake looking. It looks good from the side but straight on, just not right. I think I’m going to have Chris Morgan hair it for me if he’s got the time. I’d like to do a darker more human like hair with a few side twirls and the messed up Kirk part in the front :slight_smile:

I’ll keep this updated with any future progress and definite will post some pics in the next few days of my new boots, knife and possibly coveralls :smiley:
