I really like my Hiro that I got earlier in the year but always thought it had more potential. I bought a new one a few weeks ago from Sinister Studio but asked Cris Patterson to leave the hair unstyled as I was having it rehauled(actually, the hair looked pretty good without the product in it). I asked Danny Caraballo from Darkness Reigns to improve upon it and man did he ever.
Without an HD camera I really can’t show how great the weathering came out, but in person it looks awesome. The hair, which I always thought had a reddish hue, looks great after being darkened and really brings the mask together. I know The Hiro isn’t for everyone but truthfully, I’ll put this rehaul up against most upper echelon H1s. Could not be happier with this mask. Thanks to Danny for making a great mask even better.

SM78, I like the way the hair came out too. It was misted black and was styled to look more like an H1. This was made easier by ordering the mask from Sinister without having hair product in it(gel, hairspray, etc.). Truthfully, I would recommend anyone ordering a Sinister Myers mask to go the same route. The hair is actually good quality and is much easier to style that way.

I’ve always liked the Hiro. I have the Obsession from him but wish I went with Hiro. This one looks super dope, Congrats bro!

I did the same thing brother. Got The Obsession first and I liked it, still do, but then I was regretting not getting The Hiro. I still think the Obsession is the best bang for your buck for a good H1, but if someone has an extra $25 in their budget(and not all of us do), The Hiro is my recommendation. The fact you can get it in a 23" or 24" size is a plus too.
Just a suggestion for anyone ordering a Myers mask from Sinister in the future: This Hiro was the third mask I ordered from Cris but the first one that I asked him not to style the hair on. The hair without product in it is actually very soft and easy to work with. Even if you think your artistic skills are limited(I know mine are), I think you are better off styling it yourself. I think Cris does a good job with the hair but it gets completely matted down during shipping, like most masks do, and requires extra effort styling it due to the hair products. Again, just my suggestion.

Looks like an entirely different mask than the one we usually see. I love artists that bring out the true potential of masks. Great score and respect to the artist.
Despite my yearlong membership, I’m afraid I haven’t gotten nearly as good at taking pics of my masks as my fellow members have. Anybody who has seen any of my posts know my photos are very vanilla. Here are a couple of different angles. I tried to throw a cool lighting mode on the last one. Truthfully, these images don’t do this beast justice.
Agree with you 100%, Danny absolutely killed it! I have a couple of pics of the mask before re-haul. The first one is right out of the box, the other is after the hair was touched up a little(in case anyone is wondering, The Hiro is in the middle of the three). They illustrate not only how different the mask looked after it was reworked, but even how different it looked in seperate photos minutes apart.
