So I just got finished watching Halloween 6: The Curse Of Michael Myers (besides the editing and some parts here and there I don’t really think this is THAT bad of a Halloween movie) and noticed that it takes place in 1995 (6 years after Jamie went missing in Halloween 5).
So, she was 9 years old in Halloween 5, and in Halloween 6 (6 years later) so doing my math correctly, that puts her at 15 (depending on her birthday)… with 9 months of pregnancy she could have been 14 at the age of conception.
Anyone else find this kind of… off? I know she had problems, but damn.
i always thought that was odd i mean michael as a dad man that would make a great movie, quick someone call up rob zombie

I’m not sure if Jamie having a child was the original idea for this film. We should ask Daniel Farrands.
We know that Danielle Harris was a bit “too rich” for the H6 producers, so they went a different route (recasting her with JC Brandy). Perhaps they had script changes that wrote out Jamie, and decided to have her have a child to keep Myers on the loose.
Regardless, 6 is plagued with so many plot holes and production problems that make it a troublesome entry in the series. However, i really feel that if the story was tighter, they threw away the Thorn idea and Jamie’s baby, it really could have been a great sequel. It is directed quite well, and has some pretty tense moments here and there. Plus, a great Halloween feel and atmosphere.
I completely agree with you, the plot holes were just something I had to ignore.
I believe the script went through over 10 re-writes or so… Isn’t this also the first Halloween movie that the Weinsteins put out? I know it was the first run for Dimension taking the reigns.
I also agree with you on the feel and atmosphere… it was darker then 4 and 5 which I liked.
On the next Springer show…serial killer gets neice pregnant or Maury show…In the case of Jamie and Michael…YEAS MICHAEL YOU ARE THE FATHER!!! I always thought that was pretty creepy as well. Plus can you try to imagine the actual event…did he leave the mask on or not…LOL One case of someone wearing a rubber and still getting someone pregnant!! Anyone notice a very young Paul Rudd in the movie,went by Paul Stephen Rudd in this.

yeah, i try to forget that whole part of 6 and concentrate on the good stuff in it…production design, characters, mask, atmosphere, soundtrack and some cool deaths
Yeah I alwaysb thought hat was kind of weird that Michael was the father but I really love the film,I think the atmosphere is great and loomis’s performance was great too.The H6 mask is one of my favorite masks too.It was alot darker and scarier and I really enjoyed it besides for all the thorn BS
