Question… I remember seeing Darren (UK) post pics of a drawing very similar to this one. But I could have sworn that ArtMark did it… I thought it was an original idea.
Any more info on the artist from 2001? Looks almost identical.

Kirkus - I got that Skull and Box on eBay for NOTHING one season and stupidly sold it. It was super sweet to have - someone from around these sites bought it. I can’t recall their name.
Chadderoni: This guy wasn’t Art Mark. He was a lawyer or wanted to be a lawyer and was writing a book about famous court cases. Orenthal01@aol.com or something along those lines. He was a cool guy, but super intense. He was good friends with Terry @ CGP.

You’re right man! I forgot all about Troy Orenthal. I used to talk to him all the time… he finally got burnt out w/ the hobby apparently.
He lived only an hour from me, but I never met w/ him in person. It had been so long since Troy had been around that I forgot about his artwork.
Yeah now I remember that’s where Darren got the drawing from… it was a great idea! I love the artwork.
I emailed Don Post to see “if” he had any boxes left, sadly nope. I’m thinking about getting some repro boxes made up…who knows.
Do you have any larger file pics of the box? That pic made my night!
I love those old boxes as well. The only ones I come across nowadays are the Star Wars blue boxes - they don’t seem too rare.
But I have only seen 2 or 3 of these red ones in my collecting days. Definitely a cool addition to a DP collection.
Those pictures are the only ones I have of the box. Glad to see you guys dig the pictures!
