Hi guys,
Lately all Im hearing in the news and media is about the Killer clown costumes. It seems as though people are more legitimately freaked out over these clowns than anything. What are your thoughts? In a way they are creepier than Myers certainly.
Yeah, I posted about this in the “off topic” it’s certainly getting out of hand. With all the news coverage, I don’t see this ending until clowns start getting shot.
In a report I read, a police officer said he believes it’ll phase out, and actually seven clowns were arrested.
Lets hope G-d forbid that doesn’t happen. 
I personally don’t see it phasing out anytime soon, at least not until the news coverage stops. Right now if you happen to spot a “clown” you became famous on social media. I can’t count how many “sighting” videos I’ve watched & you can clearly tell they are staged.
But I can see the fun in it, if you wanna be famous for a little while, go spot a clown. 
Ha ha, and that’s another thing, these “sightings” you hear about make it sound like people are hunting for Bigfoot or something
Yeah there was one spotted in the town over from me haha. Also why I’ve adjusted my costume for this year. Going for the EK/Myers this time. Kids don’t get that scared anymore when I work the front yard on Halloween night. Figure I might have a little more luck with this whole clown thing going on!
They’re in no way creepier than michael myers. But it is still creepy, I have actually seen one in my town, I’m sure If we saw each other again and I was dressed as michael, he’d be runnin’
LOL I love the EK Myers. Imagine if they actually used this instead of the Kirk mask for the movie.
You know it’s a shame because this year on Halloween I’m sure the police are not only going to be stopping people in clown costumes but Myers as well so everyone should be very cautious this year.

You know, Tommy Lee Wallace said that when Nick tried it on, it was pretty eerie, and of course it would tie in well with his clown costume as a child, but I’m actually glad they didn’t go with the Emmet Kelly mask. I just don’t find it as appealing as the white mask, and the white mask is emotionless, like Loomis described Michael so it was a good fit for the character. I was watching a video review of the first Halloween and the guy said he thought if they went with the clown mask instead, he didn’t believe the movie would hold up as well as it has.
I think the EK mask, the Myers coveralls and knife, make an amazing costume. It is indeed pretty damn scary looking.
The EK mask is cool and scary but it doesn’t compare to the myers mask…I’m not even convinced there would’ve been a single sequel with that mask. You can see how people are attracted to these ghostly white masks because they sort of glow in the dark…Michael, Jason, ghostface…I’m sure there are others. The Myers mask idea was inspired at least partly by “Without a Face”. I haven’t been really following the news closely but my mom told me about these people dressing up as creepy clowns. My initial thought was maybe it had something to do with the Insane Clown Posse “Juggalo” movement. I think part of the issue with freaky clowns is that they’re not at all original. Why people choose to do this now is a mystery to me.
Something about a clown scares the crap out of me, lol. As a kid, was not a fan of the circus only because of clowns
