SP H4 Mask

Don’t know if most of you have seen this or not but I thought I’d share since I haven’t seen a post on this. This is a clay pressing of Paul Knots H4 Screen used Mask. Unlike the Damned 88 and 388 that were modified and smoothed out this new SP H4 is untouched from his screen used mask. I’d like to hear your thoughts, I think it looks really great! Masks will also be finished by Brad Hardin.

Maybe just me but I don’t care for it at all. I had one of the old sph4 and imo it looked much better than this.

There’s something wrong with the eye cuts …

It can’t be from the same master, this looks completely different

This could be a good preview of what the TOTS H4 will be like, have read it described the exact same way. May even be this mold being used.

I talked to Paul and he said it won’t be the same mold. From what I know about the tots mask, Justin is doing the sculpt and was able to use Paul’s mask as a reference. I could be wrong though.

Not bad, but there’s something just a bit off about it. I think it’s the nose, it looks a bit too wide.

I agree.

It’s not bad by any means. In fact, if you’re looking for a mask that represents the screen used in its current condition, this is a great piece. It wonderfully captures the masks aging, warping, and shape loss.

However, if you are going for 1988, screen accurate; this isn’t it.

The old ones looked way better when finished by Scott st QOTS. I’m not a fan of Brad Hardin’s finishing work at all.
