*Spoiler Request*

People on FB are saying I should have stayed for the entire ending credits. What did I miss? I waited about 2 minutes into the song and then left before seeing anything

I waited around to snap of pic of Justin in the credits, but didn’t stay after. I’m also unaware I missed something. I read some comments beforehand that said there’s nothing there to wait around for, but now I’m hearing differently.

It was just a black screen with him breathing in the mask. I took it as he’s still alive.

Black screen with the breathing sound effect or do we see the mask at all?

Just the sound of him breathing.

Ah I figured as much. Announcing a possible sequel before the film was even released kind or urked me because I knew he wouldn’t die officially. At least this time the ending makes him making it out a possibility unlike H2 where we actually watch him burn to death.

Crap I didn’t stick around but kinda figured there would be a sequel. He’ll be missing fingers and is gonna need a new mask lol

Will be interesting to see where they go with it. I’m loving this movie the more I reflect on it. :jack_o_lantern:

I’m the same, it left a really good impression on me when I left the cinema but the more I think about the film the more I like it.

I got attacked in the H2 vs. H18 thread by cooper until he realized many people are considering following this new timeline instead. H2 is forever a piece of history but H40 was outstanding and JJC did an incredible job as Myers. So much symbolism in this film, there is no motive and no denying the pure evil in his heart after killing that child

He seemed though in 78 that when he spotted Laurie he had a motive. Like he became obsessed with her and the other two girls and guy just were in the way

I agree! I think this cleared that up and rather than the desparation Loomis had in H4 to get to Haddonfield to protect Jamie, in this film we saw him destroy everything in his path. Once he got rid of the filmographers so early on I knew he was truly the embodiment of evil itself

I liked the moment when she sees him in the mirror and he sees her, almost like he was like oh I remember that bitch lol

Also anyone else thing that the scene with the motion lights in the back yard was creepy as hell? That was very well done I thought.

I’m telling you…Laurie stepped up to his porch with a key to sell his crib…Sounds like a good reason to take her out to me! Lol. Btw her dad must not have been a very good real estate agent if he was listing the Myers place. Lol

I thought the same thing! The house is in terrible shape.

Just got home from watching it.
Loved it !!! Well done, and that mask looks great on camera ! Bravo !!!

I felt that this movie was Michael’s revenge. He decided knocking off a couple of teenagers for kicks wasn’t enough this time. He was getting revenge on the town that stopped his fun for 40 years. Laurie just got in the way of that this time. She wasn’t Michael’s target, though.

Interestingly, I swear that when Allyson comes out of her house with her friends, you can see a Myers house lookalike with fresh paint in the background. Just a view from the corner, but it was a white boarded midwestern style house like the Myers house with the two windows on the upper level with the same front porch, and the shutters were dark blue.
