So wanted to talk about my thoughts of scream 7 and see what other people on here have to say about it. I know the franchise has always had that unseriousness goofy tone about it but this movie to me just made no sense. Yes the opening scene was amazing and the kills are brutal but what was the genuine point of this movie? The killers make no sense at all your telling me her neighbor had a shit marriage so she goes after Sidney and then just this random ass dude we see in one scene. There was no good motive for these killers and I’m so tired of the fact that since scream 5 they have to keep reiterating the whole “oh the killer has gotta be one of us bro it always it never trust your boyfriend” yada yada you get it i feel like it’s only there for the younger audience who should go watch the originals if they wanna understand what Scream is about. I thought the idea of Stu being alive was kind of far fetched but it would’ve actually been a lot more enjoyable and made more sense in terms of the opening scene and why Sidney and her daughter are a target. The only thing I have to say for Scream 8 is if that’s going to happen I really do hope it ends up making Scream 7 make sense, idk maybe Stu is alive and he hired those two random ass people to be the killer and that’s the real plot twist or something but I have to say I was disappointed with them basically using Stu as a easy money grab.

Totally agree. It felt all over the place and rushed, kills were really cool. And the killers reveal I was like wtf lol. I do think Stu is alive and will be back in 8.
