Styling Hair?

I am sorry if there is a similar thread like this already. I searched and couldn’t find it if there is.
But I was wondering if you guys could share your tips on how you style the hair on your masks to get that screen accurate look? I have tried styling mine but it always ends up standing back up and looking like Bob Ross.lol I am going for the H1 look, Any tips and tricks would be appreciated.Thanks

It kinda depends on what the hair looks like in the first place…making the hair screen-accurate is part of the challenge involved in making/converting a mask, and part of the price of any given mask follows from the masking arriving with great hair already. But if you want to style it after that, just do what you’d do with your own hair, i.e. use products and the like…gel, hairspray, pomade, water, a comb, brush, scissors, straightener, curler, whatever…

If you’re after the mattered look, rub your palm in circles on the hair whilst holding the mask or have it on a foam head. Yes you can use hair products, but be careful if it’s H1 as you may end up with wet look dreads.

Once you’ve matted it down a bit, pull out random twizzles (don’t go too mad, subtle is better) and poof the front up a bit for H1.

There are a lot of different looks, depending on what you’re going for. Study the screen and go from there.

For the poof in the front I use a bobby pin. Straighten it out, but not all the way. Stick one end inside the mass of hair and gently pull upward/outward from the inside. For the side “crazy bits” I just grab a small lock of hair and roll it between my fingers so it makes a little mat. Then you can style it from there. Hope this helps! I’m really new at this too.

Okay here it is! Forgot to take a before pic before I started:/ But I managed to find an old one. This was right after I got done so the product was still not dry.
