thanks,

no i think you can! its just that it isn’t as perminent as latex! latex is makes it alot stronger and is therefore harder to take off in the future if you want a rehair so i think for that reason some people prefer tacky glue! but loomis knows way more than me about this stuff!
I have haired with tacky glue it works but its not solid. I would suggest liquid latex. I noticed with tacky glue if the hair gets wet then the hair will fall off usually. Liquid latex is solid.
Tacky glue is the only glue I ever use to hair masks, I find it the easiest, and if you screw up, it can come off with hot water. Just be careful when you get to the hairline itself, you don’t want it messy. Just take your time on it.
have to agree with liquid latex. Tacky glue has never worked very well for me personally. It’s a bit more money but latex is definately the way to go… longer work time, strongest bond and just as easy to clean up. Just don’t get it on your clothes.
Hot glue is the worst. once it starts to come off there’s no way to stop it without an ugly solution, especially on the hairline. A Warlock I bought from Crypt Co had hot glued hair on the entire head… it had already started coming off at the edges soon as I got it. ripped it all off in less than 5 mins. Like it was never even there…
I have used latex and tacky glue both and I love tacky glue.Just make sure its aleenes tacky glue in the gold bottle. They sell it at wal mart in hobby section. Its white but dries clear.Tacky glue has always give me a good bond to the mask.Latex bonds better but is a headache to remove the hair if you ever need to rehair it again.Different people like different things.Either of them work great.
