My '86 The Mask is saved! I noticed that the latex was getting weaker everyday since I got it, especially just below the chin which felt very soft and oozy. So, I knew that I had to do something about it or it would be a waste. I sent it to Kelly Mann to get it foam-filled, it turned out that I made the right decision and now it will last another 25 years. It’s hard as rock now and will not rot at all 
If you have a '85/'86 The Mask in good condition, I suggest you to do the same before it’s too late.
