Now here is a great way to combine two movie franchises into one film:

Ed and Laurain Warren come across a story about a very unusual series of murders that took place in Haddonfeild, Illinois in 1978 on Halloween night.

They discover that there are rumors and stories that the murderer, Michael Myers, wasn’t just another serial killer, but something much more. Someone supernatural who could not be killed by any natural means.

They arrive in Haddonfeild to begin their investigation.

They spend most of their time speaking to the survivors and the witnesses to these horrific events.

As part of their investigation, they interview Laurie Strode, Dr. Loomis, as well as members of the Haddonfeild sheriff’s office.

They even venture all the way to the Ridgemont Federal sanitarium seeking to actually get a chance to see Michael Myers.

Of course, this is just a premise, but mabey someone could weave a really clever story around this.

With the actors from the films? that would be horrible enough to be watchable

The last thing we need is another sequel and in particular, a sequel that attempts to explain Michael Myers. This was one of the worst elements of H2 and the other sequels and we don’t need any more of it.

As for more Conjuring movies, the last one was so bad I’d rather not see anymore unless they go back to the feel and scares of the original.
