Really great thread. I know a lot about the Remake… probably way to much, ok, yes, its my obsession.

The Hockey mask and Machete were custom made.

Everything else can still, if your very lucky, be made into a costume.

The Jacket is made of the following 2 jackets.

A H&M Parka, the under jacket…

And a Woolrich Stag Jacket, Barley in color, is the overjacket which is turned inside out and cut around the mid section about mid rib level…

The jackets are weathered and stained and dirtied up shredded and sewn together, this is how mine turned out, using the above 2 jackets…

I could never find the exact jeans they used. They are not Khakis. The closest I could find was Lee Walnut Brown Jeans. Refer to number one on the following picture of the screen worn pants. That’s a jeans rivet and a standard double stitched jeans pocket.

Something that should be also covered for the Remake costume, the holster. The holster is made of a horse bit and blinder. One common mistake people make is how the holster was attached to his belt and or waist. They used 6-7 foot split reins with latigo ties. The split reins can be seen in the above picture, number two, wrapped around the waist and tied, with latigo ties, on the horse bit.

I have to give a shout out to Jasonlivessince1980. He makes, or has made, one of the best Remake Hocks ever. Here is mine made by JL80 compared to the original. He is a member of this forum.

Thanks! I too would love to see it become a sticky, but if it hasn’t happened by now I’m not sure that it ever will. The only reason I could imagine them not making it a sticky yet is because it is incomplete. But I will admit it sucks having to scroll and find it whenever I need to update it lol. I finally updated the remake section. All is filled out except for the pants.

I couldn’t help but notice you said you listed the “exact” shirt from Part 4, but it’s missing the center fold (I don’t know the word for it) that follows the buttons. There are a few scenes in Part 6 that also feature this type of shirt. Also a note, all of Jason’s green shirts are “Olive Green” - not “Hunter” or “Forest”.

Like I said above, the Part 4 style shirt does appear in Part 6 quite a bit. Perhaps they bought it to fit CJ better than Dan Bradley’s hero Part 3 style shirt.

After looking at some screen shots, I just can’t possibly see Roy’s coveralls as “blue”. They are clearly green. You keep saying that they “appear blue in the film”, but that just isn’t true.

Never have been able to see the green until these, nice stuff! I’ll add those to the main post . But you can’t deny that they appear blue for many scenes throughout the film. So many people wouldn’t say they looked blue if they didn’t.
