The Definitive Guide to All Halloween 1-11 Masks, Boots, Coveralls, and Knives **PIC HEAVY**

So…the boots in Ends look a lot like soft toes in this photo, just judging by the indent. I own a pair of the soft toes and I will admit that when you walk, they appear to be steel toe by the way they crease, but I’m beginning to lean towards them being soft toe Wolverine Floorhands.

Malfuncsean posted a YouTube video of the Ends mask with Nick Castle, but it was removed. Anyone knows if it will get reposted ?

I actually saw this picture posted earlier today as well and wondered the same, but it’s easy to wear a hole through the top of a boot toe to expose the steel plate I’ve seen it a million times we would have to get a better shot to know for sure. But if they are mechanics boots as originally assumed they should certainly be steel toe but who knows, it’s a good point.

Damn I missed it I subscribe to Sean Clark that guy is just awesome. Chances are he’s going to re-upload it he’s had issues in the past with having stuff posted and having to re-post it so I would sit tight I would imagine it will come back.

My guess is steel toe for Kills. Soft toe for Ends iirc

Universal got on Nelson’s and Sean’s back and they had to remove their posts on the masks. Apparently “too early”

That’s bullshit, the movie has been out long enough

Man this really burns my a$$, I found the Halloween 2 boots, its looks like a 100% match but there isnt a brand name anywhere
They have the double rivet, same stitching, the bi-colored soles and the yellow vibram logo

@TheGhostlyShape what do you think Nathan? I think they check all the boxes too bad theres no name printed on them

So is the plight of a Halloween fan I suppose! Lol. They’re definitely the ones from what I can see. But hey. This gives us amazing photos to compare to. Wish they were my size!

Title says they’re a vintage version of the Packer model from White’s Boots. Whites Boots are very nice and have a good longevity, but also very expensive, their current Packer model going for $680. The current Packer model is also drastically different from the ones shown here, and include a tongue not present in the eBay boots: https://shop.whitesboots.com/legacy-boots/the-original-packer/

The link englund posted is for the original item from the listing. What you’re seeing is a “similar item” being recommended by eBay there.

Any idea when we are gonna get an update for the Kills and Ends gear? Just curious as there are a whole bunch of really high-quality photos out there now and such.
Also Halloween 4 still needs to be updated on the pink mask with white hair that states it’s a Halloween II Tramer mask. I’m sure everyone knows by now the story about how they got a whole bunch of pink masks with white hair for that film and it was a big problem blah blah lol
So they had to paint them and for whatever reason in the school house scene one of the pink masks with white hair snuck in and the director Dwight Little talked about how it was missed.
But yeah there was no talk about them having a Tramer mask from Halloween II in the school scene anyway. Would’ve been cool though

The updates are in the works for the horror costume index. Any and all updates will be there as stated at the top of the first post.

As for the H4 stuff- I will admit my wording is poor there but there definitely is talk of there being a mask leftover from H2. Not a silver and white hair Tramer as we know it, but one sent to H2 set by DPS that was not styled the same way and made it to the H4 set.

Ken Horn was quoted on set of H4 as saying they had a mask leftover from H2 that they were able to “make some adjustments on” and make a handful of backups for the film. There has been speculation that the leftover mask from H2 is the pink skin/blonde hair school scene mask that is modified into a true “Myers” style (seen in the meeker various house shots), hence the statement from Ken Horn. It wasn’t until years and years later that he claimed DPS sent them a box of pink masks.

I’ve talked with 2 of the people directly involved in producing the SFX for the film who have vehemently denied that DPS sent any masks at all to set and that is not where the pink mask came from, nor the “main” H4 masks as we know them. This matches Kens quote exactly which was taken on set of H4, unlike normal crew testimony which we get years after the fact.

Awesome well that’s good to know! Yeah to be honest I had no idea I just heard the director talking about that and I thought oh I didn’t even realize but I’m just curious in knowing more about it all. Thanks for the update and clarifying man [emoji106]

.

Here’s a nice thing to add about the original hero, Nick Castle himself talking about when he owned it after H1 at the 1:46:58 mark, well worth including

After doing some research, I’d like to suggest removing the “Altama” brand name from the definitive guide for the H1 boots. There’s been no evidence presented here in this thread or anywhere else to suggest that the OG boots were Altama brand jungle boots. They could just as well have been from CIC, Bata, or a handful of other manufacturers. In fact, the only Altama brand jungle boots I tend to come across are usually reproductions, not originals from the '60s. The important features to look for when obtaining your boots are the date stamp, color, and soles. The brand is irrelevant, until we learn something concrete.

Manuel? I didn’t even know the specifics of reproductions or anything like that lol good to learn new stuff every day. Yeah when I got mine I just wanted something that looked accurate and had the right soles. Didn’t even know the difference between all time or CIC or Bata etc. Good info [emoji106]

lol Yep, it’s me. I’m guessing my post sounded familiar after that comment I left on your YT channel. OP has compiled some excellent information in the first post of this thread, but I have no idea who decided that Altama was the correct brand of boot.

And just to add to my point, I just got these boots in the mail today. They were issued in June of 1966. As you can see, Bata manufactured these particular boots.
