Hey guys, i was curious to know what your version of a “good” hairline is/looks like ? Eye’s have been discussed recently as has flesh & paint but im curious as to what you think a good hairline is?

i think theres 2 diff versions the roll over and the straight down method the roll over is a way easier way but the straight down method is more accurate

This is a great post Paul! I have always said that a properly shaped hairline at the right height is almost as important as eye cuts. You can have great eye cuts and a waaaaay off hairline and it’s a no-go. I know because I’ve been there :laughing: I tend to like a clean hairline across the top and more authentic “ripped off” sides. I’m not a fan of sloppy hairlines at all but thats just me. I know that the Kirks I have seen good shots of usually have a neat line.

Here’s the hairline I layed on Kris’ NMM78 Proto with some killer mohair…
