I always thought ( and I could be wrong ) that by H4, the William Shatner camp got involved as far as likeness & royalties go, so from H4 on, we see a diff mask.
But like I said, I could be wrong about that.

I’d have to go with H1 and H2 all the way. The mask from the other films do nothing for me. Interesting about the quick scene in H4… must go and check this out.
yep, vadar is correct! i love that part! there where no h1/h2 hero masks used in h4 at all! they used the same type of mask for some scenes but not the same one! and i think saying the others look ridiculous is way too harsh! i love all the masks pretty much! the exposed however i am not too fond of but i don’t think it is ridiculous!

But i will never understand why they changed Michael Myers to a chinese-looking Myers…wan-tan soup?
Maybe you meant it in a light hearted kind of way so ill smile as i write this too, but understand that there are members here from all around the world so you & your won ton soup remark (or as you spelled it Wan Tan)is a bit stupid to some. That’s like somebody telling you to go grab a chicken schnitzel & some chili cheese fries from der-Wienerschnitzel only because you have “Germany” in your name…(shallow minded right). I doubt you would be fond of that. That kind of stuff is as useless as rubber lips on a woodpecker.
Wan-Tan in Germany, WON-TON in the States, who cares - a soup is a soup. i would have no problem with the “Schnitzel”-example - if it’s a real SCHNITZEL…but i would have a problem with your wrong chicken-schnitzel and chili cheese fries example, who eats something like that? … So i’m not a hypersensitive guy and by the way i think nobody has a problem with WAn-TOn
So we all should concentrate us on the discussion and not on the WOn-TAn soup. Have a nice evening!

I’m sure that by 1988, The Hero was already degrading…plus in the storyline it was burned up in the fire at Haddonfield Memorial. I’m not too fond of masks after 1 & 2 - but there was a VERY nice mask in part 4 for one quick scene
I’m sure many others here have more eloquent answers.
If i am correct Dick Warlock said in an interview, that the producers wanted the Hero Mask for Halloween 4 - but condition of the Hero was not very good. So they tried a new Kirk (the good quick scene) - and Akkad decided that they take another mask. But i will never understand why they changed Michael Myers to a chinese-looking Myers…wan-tan soup?
Even more disgusting is the mask of Halloween 5 - in my opinion it has a female touch, girlie-Myers. Part 6 is a bit better - better than H20 or Resurrection…imo. But all nothing against the real Hero - so the original H1+H2 rules…
Rob Zombie: :butthead:
I always have a nice laugh when somebody praises the “kirk mask” in the school scene in H4 and then talk shit about the hero mask in H4 when most likely they are the same exact mask they just painted and cut the eyes. The hairline matches up along with cast members from H4 confirming it while at the 30th convention when they saw my screen used H4 mask. There’s some soup for you

Exactly. Paint the h4 flesh and don’t color its hair and you have the school mask. they are one in the same from what we can tell and we have the mask in front of us when comparing the mask. Ms. Harris flat out said that it was the mask and commented at how odd it was they didn’t have it white at first.
They used a Warlock in all movies. Crofaders screenused mask is a Warlock too.

What are you talking about? they used a Kirk in H1,2,4 after that original sculpts
Nope… a Warlock was used in all movies. They changed the hair.

I like the escape mask in rzh1 the best out of all the movies. That was ninja.
I do A LOT of push-ups!
Everyday in fact…

Love H1/H2, H6, and H20. As far as part 4 being the same Kirk in the school scene I’m not so sure. Even H5’s mask looked creepy in some scenes.
