This is always something that I wondered about. I want to hear which movie out of the series you thought actually gave you that true fall season Halloween Feeling. Im going to have to say H4 always did it for me. It just always put off such a great fall season vibe compared to the rest. Lets hear what you all think!

I’m with you Brent, H4 gives me the most “Halloween” feeling due to the decor and festive vibe. Then comes H2 followed by H1. Of course I’d love to say H1 does it best for me but there just isn’t enough of the festive feel for me! But as you all know, H1 is by far my favorite of all!!!

I think H4’s opening credits had one of the more authentic feels to the season. H1 was good but if we are going to be honest there are alot of green tree’s that appear threw-out the movie. Don’t get me wrong, its still a nice vibe but mostly because of a few falling leaves in front of the camera. Speaking only on the seasonal vibe i would say the first 2-3 minutes of H4.

Dont underestimate H6…as much as the story is abit screwy, the atmosphere of H6 is really nice…next time you watch it, look for the scene with Kara walking through her college campus, and Tommy Doyle walking at the campus rally at night…very nice Halloween scenes…
H4 is probably the best though…beautiful halloween imagery there, plus, the main characters actually go out trick or treaing, which is huge for atmosphere of the season…H2 has a great feel when Loomis and some of the police officers are searching for myers…it felt like Halloween night when i was watching some of those scenes.
It would be nice to see them get back to the atmosphere of Halloween (the season) in the movies…RZh2 had some, but the stories need to reflect the night of Halloween more…imo
I’ll have to say 3,4,5,2,1 for the Halloween vibe, but for the series is “totally” different.
Right on “50”, exactly how I feel.
I did forget about the scene in H1 when the bell rings and all the kids are running out of school… very “Halloweenish” and I love that part!
