Well, I have a package coming from DP, Jr. and it’s the real deal ‘Kirk’ hair from the same manufacture from way back in the 70’s…it’s Crape Hair.

You mean crepe right? Crape sounds like you’re a country boy like me. I honestly do think that crepe wool was used on the 75. I just believe it was a thinner, softer consistency. Just from looking at the winded crepe today, the brown differs a bit in thickness from the blonde that I have. Dying the blonde crepe looks awesome to say the least. I really want to hair a Kirk now! I’m pretty sure I’ll make that my next project… a complete Kirk paintup and hairjob - maybe on a 99 Shat.

Check out the dyed blonde in this pic (the darker color blonde)… it looks damn good to me. I’ll take some pics of my stuff soon to show you.

I wasn’t there so I have no clue. Erik Yeager and Rob Tharp told me Yak hair which is what I meant by former DPS employees verified the lab results. I think Malone and Tharp need to arm wrestle this one out !

Do you use spirit gum to put your hair on with?

No, I don’t use spirit gum. I use either latex, contact cement, or clear tacky glue… depends on my mood.

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! Not chewi!
You can get some stuff that works well…heck being an owner of a chewi i can say Nik’s 2k kirk has the same hair as chewi!
