Hey guys, as a lot of you know Laurie Strode is my hero. I try to channle my inner Laurie Strode when I can( :wink: to Katie). Because, I’m so passionate about the character I decide to make The Laurie Strode Play List. These songs, I feel, capture Laurie’s essence as she is represented in Halloween, Halloween II, Halloween: The First Death of Laurie Strode, Halloween H2O and Halloween Resurrection. I’d also like to dedicate this list to my friends Katie Craven and Alex Leahy. Enjoy!

Me too. AIC is my favorite band :rock:

Black Gives Way to Blue does remind me of Laurie…I never made that connection before. I think it would sum up her feelings right after the second film…coping with losing her friends, finding out that Michael is her brother. Heavy, emotional stuff.

I was thinking about this the other day and Sister Christian by Night Ranger is also a good fit for Laurie. :sunglasses:

Glad to see Hole made it on the list - I got into that band before the “newer” stuff. And Jennifer’s Body was always one of my favorite tracks :drinkers:

You’ll have to do a follow up in the near future for a Michael Myers Play List! :rock:

BTW Michael, I remember that awhile back a member here took the four Halloween movies Jamie Lee appeared in as Laurie Strode (H1/H2/H20/H8) and made one complete movie out of it. I don’t recall the name of the edit nor the person who did it but I think you would like it as it tells the whole Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee) story!

Hmmmm, I may do one up myself. :mrgreen:
