So, I love dressing up as H1 Myers. I’ve been trying to make my costume as accurate as I can, but there is always one little issue…
I’m kinda giant.
Not Tyler Mane big, but I’m 6’5 and slightly heavy, which is kind of a problem when I’m trying to look like a 5’10 skinny guy.
But I found a way to stretch my mask a bit wider to make it look bigger, and that changes the proportions to make my body look smaller.
It’s obviously not gonna look perfect, but I think it makes the mask look more accurate as a bonus, so I’m still gonna do the new trick I discovered from now on. It’s mostly just for an in camera effect anyway, and I’m not making a fan film or anything so it’s really only for pictures.
Of course there is still the cool factor of a giant Michael Myers on Halloween night when I’m trick or treating, so I’m not complaining about my height. My size is only an issue for me when I take pictures trying to replicate the Nick Castle look.
Anyway, let me know your thoughts on my new stretch technique!
Oh wow I would not of guessed it was a TOTS Kirk, it looks incredible the way your wearing it there. That mask has some serious potential, that is probably the best one I have seen yet. Its great stuff there man
Looks awesome man, closer look than I pull off and I’m 5’10 and around 155lbs. Even with the same build It’s impossible to pull off the castle look accurately for me because of the size of almost all masks. A 24 inch mask or bigger looks like a bobblehead… I have one small castle stretch mask (like original kirk small) with a super thin pull. Once it’s finished I hope it does the trick.
The mask looks great as far as a build goes you’d really have to be almost underweight with a bit of bulk in the shoulders, I wouldn’t recommend livinf like that though, it is incredibly painful on the body
Just wanted to touch on your overall look again, aside from the mask looking really good ,in regards to your height and weight I think your look seriously looks great brother. You pulled off in my eyes a great H1 Myers
You look awesome, dude! I have a bit more of a thinner frame and am skinny af, but am 6ft and a half inches tall, so I pull off a skinny look yet my masks look huge on me. I think I pull off a skinny castle look pretty well. You look spot on! And that ToTs kirk is fantastic!
