I am very ashamed to say I actually liked it. I thought Scout Taylor Compton, Danielle Harris, and Brad Dourif turned in great performances, and McDowell was a laugh riot. I even liked Sheri Moon Zombie, although I have actually never had a huge problem with her. On to the Michael Myers portion of the film. Grizzly Addams, or I mean Michael Myers should not have been in this film. Yep, that is right, a Michael Myers film would have benefited more without Michael Myers. Tyler Man did an awful job, however young Michael Myers was OK. When the Laurie plot and the Myers plot came together at the end, it actually worked well. Outside of that Myers should have stayed away from this one. The dialogue was still filled with fucks and cocks, but for some reason it was not as obnoxious as Zombie’s other flicks. Even though I saw it coming the death of Annie did have me in tears, but it was done well. There were also a lot of very cool shots. Rob Zombie must have not been as involved with this one as the first.
I personally thought Tyler was one of the best Michael Myers we’ve had. What did you dislike about his performance in this film?
Tyler mane is perhaps the only one since Castle and Durand that has captured the feel of a ‘real’ Myers fr me. No silly robot walking, no overweight belly trying to burst through coveralls, and no shoulder pads. 
i know its your opinion but how in the hell could this be any resemblence of the same movie without michael myers? thats the single most rediculose thing ive heard about rz H2.

and yes daveberg, Tyler mane is indeed the best Myers we have had since Nick Castle and i even like elements of Tyler playing him better than Nick.

I don’t get it… Why is that more RZ haters are admitting they like it, and less RZ fans are saying they liked it? I really question alot of peoples judgment and taste in horror films…
Mane was the best Myers since Castle…and I agree maybe even some aspects of his performance/manner were better to my liking.
This is interesting and I have a theory that the RZ haters had their expectations for the film very low and so the film surprised them and they liked it a lot more than they planned. On the other hand, RZ fans thought it was going to be some masterpiece and it wasn’t as good as their expectations so they disliked the film.
I know its you’re opinion but you liked little mikey better than Tyler Mane as Myers? Are you kidding me? Tyler was badass, little mikey had some bad acting, not nearly as good as Daeg even though I don’t like Daeg, I admit that.
Now hold up there BUCKSHOT… You like elements of Manes Myers over Castle’s Myers

Now Tyler kicked ass as myers. No one could get the feel of the role since 1978 castle, tyler did it! o and any more of that gut flopping, robot walking i was gonna throw up my lunch! it’s like them actors was’nt even trying to get into the role, for crying out loud!!!

His first Halloween was great.I am really looking foward to seeing H2 .Wish I could have seen it already but I plan on going Monday…I know alot of people hear say it was horrible .I really hope not.
This movie is an absolute fu**ing train wreck. I don’t think Zombie has ever heard the phrase “Keep it simple stupid”. For all the shock and gore that’s in this movie it has to be the least scary movie I have ever seen. Myers was brutal and had some bad ass kills but not even that could keep my interest. I must have checked the time on my cell like 10x during the film. I couldn’t wait for it to be over. Stupid ass dialogue and a pointless even stupider back story which I couldn’t care less about just ruined this film. The less we know about the killer the more terrifying they are IMO. I could care less about the whole “white horse” thing- an obvious storyline just to give his talentless wife a spot in the film. Just put the damn mask on and kill anything that moves. I don’t plan to see this stupid movie EVER again. It’s obvious Zombie didn’t learn one damn thing from John Carpenter about how to scare the sh*t outta the audience. If he did it went up his nose and out his ass!

Wow…I think Tyler has been the best since Castle and warlock…I thought the little michael was horrible and fake…His acting IMO was a joke and I think Tyler kickas ass as a myers…I hope he returns as Michael myers no matter who picks the film up…He is our New myers to me…But to each their own and thats just my opinion…Glad you enjoyed it man…Later guys

tyler is definatley the best since castle and dick…durand did a damn good job as well, but tyler is down right unbeleivable…he really is awesome to me he trys his heart out to play the character we love…and i feel like he just brings SO much character to mike without making him to different and making him still michael…that to me is almost impossible…cause it was like the hood and jacket werent even there cause it still felt like michael to me…he had half a damn mask and he STILL pulled off michael myers and it was just incredible…the scene where he gets jumped by the two hill billys is really powerful and tyler really shows his michael side int hat scene…one of the best scenes i ever seen in a halloween
