Forever we’ve assumed that the Halloween 4 knife is a Dexter. I’m not even sure why, but RanshiieKrueger84 recently brought it to our attention that we all may be incorrect. I was able to get some blu ray screenshots of the Halloween 4 knife when Michael grabs it and I made a successful identification. Friedr.Herder Abr.Sohn solingen-germany chef knife!
Here are 2 photos of my new knife, as well as the matching ID I made
Same here. They’re very rare, I think I lucked out on this one. I found it on eBay while I was in hobby lobby I was sitting through vintage knife listings and I clicked this one, not even because I thought it was the H4 knife, but because the spade rivet caught my eye. It wasn’t until I scrolled to the stamp photo that I recognized the “SO” in the logo as being from a screenshot. Then I compared, found the spade stamp on the blade in screenshots and voila! This guy got my money
Sure, guys! It’s a 10 1/4 blade. Enough shots convinced me I saw a 10 that I went with this one.
Random thought, probably nothing: where did this German knife come from? Were these distributed in the US? Reminds me of the Brute mask in H5. Where did that come from? Was there someone from Europe on both sets that possibly contributed these props?
Thought you should know, there’s a shot at the very end where Myers lets his grip go on the knife. You can see the spade rivet on the handle! Couldn’t get a good enough screen shot to show you, but you definitely have the correct knife. Very nice find!
I will measure when I get home and let ya know! I’d say it’s closer to 1.5 inches going off memory. Edit: I was wrong, just measured and it’s exactly 2”! You were right on the money.
