haha, awesome!

TOTS H2 mask signed by Jamie Lee, John Carpenter, and…Nick Castle? Hmm. $550.

Here’s a quote from a review, regarding this gem:

“This Michael Myers mask served its purpose, as I went out as Michael Myers for Halloween 2002 and Halloween 2006. I also have the blue jumpsuit. I went to Halloween parties in 2002 and 2006 and got tons of attention - strangers coming up to me and taking my picture, wanting to pose for pictures with me, etc. This is a very simple mask and a very simple costume if you also throw in the jumpsuit. It’s very inexpensive. To this day I’ve never understood the fuss that was made about my costume. I guess it’s because I was Michael Myers. That alone grabs attention, plain and simple. Just like this mask and the complete costume is plain and simple. Personally, I don’t think the mask really looks like the original Michael Myers mask from Halloween I, which is the mask that most people think is the best looking one. It looks more like the Halloween 4 mask.”

It’s hard for me to believe people wanted a picture with this thing…maybe they were so drunk that they could barely even see.

These are always hilarious! One thing I can attest to though is that a Myers costume always gets a reaction. Back in the day I always had a mass produced mask (none of them were very good) and I would almost always get attention or be in the running for a best costume contest at any Halloween party or event I went to. Even to the general public, Michael is well known. He’s the scariest killer of them all. It’s harder to believe Freddy or Jason could be a real thing, being that they are more supernatural. Freddy is downright funny at times. Michael is a different animal and Halloween is a scarier film. It just works and people are drawn to it. People never know who’s under that mask and all those fight or flight instincts kick in stemming from when they watched that wonderful movie.

One good…One bad…really bad.

I made a similar post last year about the worst cheap masks.
These things crack me up to no end.

The facial expressions are hilarious. How could anybody be scared.

Mr. Bungle, yeah that makes sense. Freddy is funny, I’ve laughed several times at the things he says. In the case of these poor quality masks though, the curiosity would be killing me as in “who is behind this terrible mask choice?”. One thing about being Michael Myers is you don’t have to be creative at all. Instead of coming up with a costume of your own, you just steal someone else’s! :myers: That’d be funny to wear one of these terrible masks with some inaccurate coveralls (like totally the wrong color, maybe red or something), to some convention and see how people react.

The expressions are ridiculous. They are actually quite comedic, like I could see someone wearing one of those masks as a stand-up comedian or something. They’re that bad.

The one with the mouth slit and the person under the mask going all wide eyes is the classic Don Post The Mask. I remember it being in the advertisements for it, at least in the 90’s.

Whose paid $60 for that first Paper Magic mask? I bought one at K-Mart for $10 once (I was young and stupid!)

This one looks like its about to hurl:

haha that thing looks pathetic.

You know what I think would be cool :sunglasses: ? Is if all the conversion artists picked the worst mask we could find and convert it. Leave the hair but we could style it. Feature it all in one thread! :stuck_out_tongue:
