Anyone else annoyed by all the NSFW or just generally cringe Myers fan art?
I used to really like dead by daylight but ever since he was put into that game I see so much gay Myers fan art. These people arent even real fans like us if they were they wouldnt do this. They wouldnt be asking for shirtless Myers or calling him “Daddy Myers” I dont even want to link any examples here but trust me its out there. I dont really care if this is gatekeeping. WE NEED TO STAY NICHE.
Yeah, I know what you mean. I’ve seen that stuff, it really sucks, but that’s what happens when you put Michael out there into a community such as the one of Dead by daylight. It wouldn’t surprise me if the vast majority, if not all of the these people don’t even realize that Michael comes from a huge franchise, but instead thinks he’s just from one or 2 movies. In fact, I watched a guy playing as Michael in DBD, and every time he referred to Michael in the movies, it was only the Rob Zombie stuff (which the in game version of Myers isn’t even based on)…pretty sad.
