After selling my original Don Post Studios 1982 Halloween III mask set, I felt a Halloween III void. Although I have stopped collecting Halloween masks as a hobby, I have not stopped collecting memorabilia. I picked up some pretty cool rarities as of late that you just don’t see.
The Halloween III cast and crew tote bag
I’ve had this for several years now. I got this from Don Post, Jr. himself after he was cleaning out a drawer in his office. Don told me he got it from Debra for helping out with Halloween III. He also told me that he had a coffee mug but it broke…he got that from Tommy Lee Wallace.
The Halloween III cast and crew coffee mug
I actually got this in Tuesday of this past week and have been after one for years and years. This is what Tommy Lee gave to the cast and crew of Halloween III.
As a bonus, the cup was autographed by Tommy Lee back in 1982.
The Halloween III Don Post Studios Certificate of Authenticity tag
This was something I acquired back in October! I never knew these existed! The story of these are…after the masks were used in the movie, these tags were to be attached to the masks stating that they were screen used masks and sold to the public. Sadly, the movie bombed and the idea was abandoned and the masks were just rolled out as regular masks. The certificate is autoed by Debra Hill, John Carpenter and Don Post, Jr.
The back has the Halloween III logo. I have never seen one or heard of one until late last year in 2014.
My BIG 3, all lined up; it’s not the Witch, the Skull or the Pumpkin…but, they’re even rarer!
