THINGS YOU LEARNED FROM HALLOWEEN 4!

Sums it up Jimi! I think I will pop H4 in tonight after work! :stuck_out_tongue: Thanks guys!

JC

Watching Halloween 4 today while decorating for autumn time, and I freaking love this movie.

Wade taught me today that you don’t let Brady rush you as the timings gotta be primo. Her daddy don’t scare me.

I learned that martians could land on Ben’s doorstep and all he’d do is spit once and get himself a shotgun.

And Michael walks like he’s got a crick in his neck

And Jaime likes 2 scoops of ice cream

True story: About a year ago I was flying back from a work related event. I wasn’t even in the mindset of Halloween or a convention. I was seated next to a girl that was very talkative and a bit forward. We started talking and eventually mentioned the horror thing to her. Well, she goes to ask what my favorite franchise was and I, of course, said Halloween. She then proceeds to tell me her uncle was the guy in H4 who got the thumb in his head. She told me all about how he got the part and his career. I couldn’t believe the odds of that happening. I thought it was a cool, random encounter.

That the mask on the cover wasn’t anything like the one in the movie   :frowning:

It’s got the best Halloween night feel to it over any of the other movies. H6 comes close.

i learned that you can reach loomis thru the local police

making out and playing w big ol titties makes you think youre in heaven

That after 25 years since the release of the movie, I STILL can not stand this movie.

^^Hahaha!

Piggy-backing on what Anthony said…the one thing I learned was how pissed off and disappointed I was when the mask that was pictured for the cover of the movie was nowhere to been seen…in the movie. Where’s George Lucas when you need him?

Over the last 25 years, I have grown to love this movie very much! I can overlook some things about it that I don’t really care for, but the old school Fall/Halloween feeling is very strong in this one… and that gets me every time!

Oh, and I learned that Loomis calls an ambulance a “bus”!

I agree James I can sit and watch this one and it still has the original Halloween feel to it. Even though Michael walks like he slept without pillow and woke up with a crick in his neck. But I do love the feel it gives

That Rev. Jackson P Sayer is from Dumont county and has been hunting “it” for 30 odd years give or take. And that some things are as clear as “breasts & blue suede shoes” to him.

What don’t you guys like about it? I remember the first time watching it on VHS my brother and parents rented it from Star Video and we loved it. I remember when they left the sanitarium and the Halloween theme started it gave me chills and scared the crap out of me. I still get that Halloween feeling from it and it’s such a fun movie to watch. Loomis makes the movie and I think every character in that movie is awesome. It’s got a great feel to it. I love the directing and cinematography. The mask is horrid, but the movie is great in my opinion.

They had to market that This was the RETURN of Myers so they had to use a striking image that’s fans recognize so you get the shot of the H1 mask a scene of H1 on the lower right as well. This never bothered me and aside from mask dorks on a website the average movie goer wouldn’t even notice this.

I also learned that George P. Wilbur can’t navigate a roof very well.

It’s just a personal opinion.

I think in times where we are, sometimes we remember a ok or good movie as a great movie due to nostalgia. You can just tell John and Debra were not involved…Moustapha was and it shows because each movie kept getting worse and worse.

But he can sure get off that roof in a jiffy!

Indeed. :sunglasses:
