The paint on my TOTS mask ripped of. There has been a small hole on the side of the head since the day it arrived but I ignored it. But today the hole got bigger and the paint ripped off.I know this is a stupid questions since I have already made modifications to it but do you think I could get a refund? I was very disappointed since I like this mask very much.

The mask looks repainted. Are you sure you didn’t try and take the paint off and this happened.
I just find it impossible to believe one day it was fine then you walk in a room and it’s all gone. What’s the story of how it happened?

I think you’re SOL…since you already worked on it. Plus its a 60$ mask, is it really worth the hassle? You’ve been posting your re hauls alot. I would just strip it down, and start fresh with a blank canvas if I were you…perfect opportunity to do so imo. Instead of asking for a refund on something you already altered. That would just be a silly thing to do.

I made the hole bigger, but the paint rip because it has a small hole when it arrived. I think I would just redo the entire thing. Sorry for not being clear enough. But if I ripped the paint on purpose in the first place why would I make a thread to ask for help?

If you think you can get a refund now after working on it go for it. I would’ve just saw the issue in the beginning and asked then. You would’ve had a stronger case for a refund then. I’m sorry bud I guess I’m not reading your post correctly or something lol I’m just giving my opinion if I were in your shoes.

I would agree with everyone here. Once altered, It voids the warranty for any type of return or exchange.

Just strip it down and start over. It’ll probably look better the second time around.

You may not have ripped the paint, but depending on what you used and more importantly how and if you sealed it is how it peeled imo.
Live and learn, do it over. I’ve thrashed a dozen masks learning.

Is it the blood tears conversion you just finished? If you can skin the rest of the paint off maybe you can salvage it and start over :question:
