_Have any of you been to a website called Your Props? Came across this portion of the site http://www.yourprops.com/view_item.php?movie_prop=24826
This guy claims that he has the original screen used pumpkin from Halloween 2 from opening credits. I just went through here a tad. I did notice more than one of these members to that site claiming to have screen used stuff, a Lunatic, H1 pumpkin etc… Now it’s one thing to use my idea and mimic it… badly might I add. Then it’s another thing to claim that it is an actual screen used prop and the wrong movie at that. The whole thing is carved terribly no webbing. I really hope that this not a member of this site passing this off on another site. Now that you have viewed the link and seen this piece of crap. The only reason I would say this might be a member here, Is because the pics of mine were posted here. Any way what ever…lol. Thought you guys would like some more fun props to look at. Anyone here a member of that sit? now view my version…the First version.
_I want you guys to know I appreciate your comments, but in no way am I trying to advertise and let me also say that Chad (Warlock) got me started on these pumpkins. I never truly give him props, He was the first and handed the reigns over when he got busy doing Hocks… I am glad you guys like this pumpkin though.

For some reason I always thought the pumpkin with the skull inside in the H2 opening credits was a real pumpkin modified with the skull inside. I forgot where I heard that.
Now correct me if I’m wrong here but the one used in the movie was actually a real pumpkin, plus it actually looked real. This one…I don’t really know what to say.
it doesnt matter matt, you know who your loyal customers are, i will be one of them, i dont like these, i like the depth of your cuts you make. everything looks good on your, im excited to get mine, forget his!!!

I’ve talked to Jamie Shourt who actually made the original one back in 1981 and have seen it personally in St. Louis back in 1999. The entire piece is HUGE (6 foot tall) and very thin; (5 foot wide) the Panavision Camera is stretched it out for the screen. (Mathematics was calculated on how much the pumpkin would stretch for the screen) The Pumpkin is made of foam and the skull was also made from the same material.
Jamie told me they filmed 2 takes with this piece. During the first sequence the entire right part of the pumpkin part fell over causing a huge gash in the side and also inside the pumpkin. They fixed it and also re-painted the piece and filmed it again and that is the take you see. It sequence was filmed in normal motion and slowed down in post production.
My friend has video of the time we saw it along with photos. Sadly, he can’t find anything.
I almost purchased it but I did not have anything to move it. It’s really that big.
