Happened to me too. Funny as hell but true.
Totally agree with you Curtis. It is starting to be a very common thing on these boards getting those kinds of questions.
I know what you mean Curtis. I actually had someone offering around $60 for my NAG/AHG Mint '75 #6 (which belonged to Curtis before as well) I owned at that time. I really don’t mind at all since it was a new member. Off course I turned it down politely writing it was a $700+ piece… Then he replied and offered $100… Again, I politely turned down the offer and I had to laugh about it but… I understand someone getting a bit frustrated when it happens often!
However, we should give anyone the benefit of the doubt first. I couldn’t understand as well in the beginning (and that’s only a few years back from now) those price-masks. Which ever way we put it, those masks are not cheap (I mean we all have to work hard for a few hundred bucks) and therefore only collectors see the true value of those “painted and haired pieces of latex”. And becoming a true collector is something which takes time in order to learn the effort and time going into a conversion. A few years ago I couldn’t imagine spending a $1000 or more on a masks and now I have a few standing on a shelf…

I hope you don’t mean my offer of my George Burns figure for your Mint 75!
