Hey guys…I rarely make post like this but I think it needs to be said…I have recieved my 4th PM like this within the past 3 months…Some people seem to not realize that there is no way in God’s name anyone is going to trade a Mass produced DP mask for an Indie mask…Especially when its a higher end piece of 200 or more…Your not even gonna get that trade for an indie mask thats around 100 bucks…Now I never knock DP’s or anyone who owns them…I always congradulate those guys who score their first DP mask…I remember back in the 80’s when I first got mine…Its very exciting when you pick up your first Michael myers mask…But maybe some of you just dont know any better but I fail to believe that this is the case all of the time…You most certainly can not expect someone to trade you an indie mask that is valued or cost 200 dollars or more for a 30-60 dollar DP mask…Alot of people are veterans to this board and the hobby itself…Then you have guys that are just as knowledable as the veteran collectors and members to this board…Most everyone here knows the mask that are out there, have been out there and what they are worth today…Quite frankly I find it disrespectfull and some what rude to ask me to trade you a 200 dollar mask, a 500 dollars mask, or an 800 dollar mask for a mask you paid 30-60 bucks for…I would never in this life time or any other trade my H78 for a DP, The HSS H9 I just sold, my 30th mask or any other mask in my collection for a mass produced myers mask…No one else on this board would either…And yes fella’s I have been asked this several times about all the mask I mentioned within the past 3 months…So please to those of you who may not know or just trying to be disrespectfull save us the trouble of reading a PM like that…I think I can speak for everyone when I say we just dont want to waist our time reading something to that nature of insanity…Think about what you are asking people and how you will be coming off asking such a question to those who own these mask…I know its very hard to buy some of these mask and I would never in my life knock anyone who cant afford them…Some people just cant do it and there is nothing wrong with that…I like to think everone including our younger members will some day be able to afford some of these mask…I am not making this post to call out anyone but only to make it clear and inform some of you that it would never happen and it can send a bad message to the owner of these mask about you…So as always take care everyone and dont take this the wrong way…Ive been talking with several other members here who are having the same issue and im just trying to speak for everyone who has encountered the same thing…Not a rant nor am I trying to rub anyone the wrong way…Just think about what you ask people…Later guys and take care everyone

Yeah in which im not trying to be at all…I just dont think some members really think before they ask a question like that…Like my H78…I had a guy ask me to trade my H78 for his Dp 06 mint and still tagged…My H78 was around 800 dollars including the conversion…Even without it being converted its a 300 dollar mask…I just find it hard to bleieve that being a member on this site you dont know the value of some of these mask…Grant it I do think some just dont know any better and may be new to this stuff…But when I see you have been here more than a year or 2 and have a pretty decent post count that tells me you have spent some time here…So to ask me to trade a 200- 800 dollar mask for a 30-60 dollar dp mask is a bit insane and rude…If you just dont know any better thats fine which is why I decided to post this…Like I said im not trying to be rude at all…I tired to make the post as polite as I could while still trying to get the point across…I think people just need to think or investigate a mask before they ask a question like that…Later guys
yes,but what is a 500.00 to 800.00 mask anymore??? i spent 800.00 on my H78 and be lucky to get 250.00 for it…masks are just not worth what they used to be
haha i think caesers point is nooen would even trade the lowest indie mask for best mass produced let alone masks that cost two to three hundred dollars

I dont know I still break even for most of mask I sell…Especially on Ebay LoL…But that is the point im trying to make…Even for a 100 dollar mask, 200 dollar mask, 250 dollar mask no one is going to trade one of these mask for 30-60 dollar mass produced mask…Im not trying to start an battle here or a debate guys…Or discuss whats valued at what…Im just saying that it can be a little rude at times to ask such a question…Crazy at best 
…I do think some people are just new and dont know better but I dont think its the case all the time…Especially when you get that kind of a question from someone who has been here for a year or 2 and has spent some time here…They have to have an idea as to what some indie mask are valued at…We all visist the gallery at some point(Especially new members) and you can clearly get an idea to mask values there…So im prettyu sure there are those who think the same way…Ive been talking with alot of other members here lately about this and they feel the same way…So after I got the PM tonight I decided to bring to attention ina polite manner…I dont want this to turn into anything more than it is…This doesnt need to escalte into a debate or another board arguement…Im just trying to inform people of what they are asking of any member who owns an indie mask…Some mask still fetch their true values…Certain psycho’s, KH mask, warlocks, most NAG mask and I just think its crazy to ask that of someone especially if you know the values of indie mask…Like the guy who asked me this tonight…Asked me to trade a higher end mask for his Dp RZ H2…I wasnt sure if he was that just didnt know better but then I just saw he made a post looking for a nightowl Psycho…So he knows the values of indie mask yet he still thought I would trade him one for a mass produced DP…So that strikes me a bit rude or that he may have been trying to pull a fast one on me…Anyway, that all im trying to say fella’s…Later boy’s

Considering what you have offered before bro I think I will pass LoL…You still have 1st dibs if the day ever comes my friend…But thats almost a perfect comparison of what I was offered in a trade for it a few months back…Somone actually asked me to trade a DP for it then had the nerve to get a little upset when I said no…Im always politre about it but sometimes I take it as disrespect…Soly for the issue tonight…Asked me to trade a DP RZ H2 for one of my mask, then turns around and makes a post about wanting a Psycho…So this person knows the values of mask…At first I kinda thought he just might know any better…Untill I saw his post about the Psycho, how long he has been here and his post count…He tried to pull a fsat one on me…That I dont like…I would never do something like that to someone…Thats saying I dont think this guys knows better so Im gonna try and get him

Curtis, I feel for you man. I’ve had a few people ask for my Warlock, with a couple of ridiculous “trades” Crazy. what people think they can get away with. Just brush it off dude, and laugh about it. It’s actually really funny!!!
