Hey there viewer here is my top 9 Michael Myers masks worst to best. Sorry if I missed one and You can agree or disagree in the comments. And this is my first.
1- Halloween 5- This mask looks very stupid and ugly.
2-Halloween 4- This mask looks like it is from don post compared to the others. I wish they would have used the mask on the cover.
3-Halloween h20 The eyeholes ruin it.
4-Rob Zombies Halloween 2- I totally love the outfit but I was not a huge fan of the mask.
5-Halloween Resurrection- The mask is awesome but I did not like the part were Busta Rhymes has the same mask as Michael
6- Halloween 2- This mask is so awesome but does not look as scary as the original.
7-Halloween 6/666/The Curse of Michael Myers- I love this mask it is beaten up and I think it looks cool in the dark theme that Halloween 6 has.
8-Halloween (1978)- This mask is amazing and The Major part in the creation of Michael Myers.
9-Rob Zombies Halloween I love how it is beaten up and it looks the scariest so it gets number 1.
I don’t think of them as the same mask, even though I know they are.
I mean if a painting melts and warps… is it still the same painting? The properties of what made it art have changed into something else.
Physically its the same collection of particles, but I think it’s a very different mask in what it portrays.
1 and 2 are the only masks I like. I like the poster for the 5 mask that was never in the film too, because it looks like 1 so much.
The mask in the first zombie movie at the start of the film is pretty good too, I really like the silver gray quality to it. but the rotted look towards the end and in the second one goes way too far for me.
It fits the film but it’s not a style I care about.
I’ve never been moved by 4-10 or whatever. Either the hair is really silly or the mask looks nonthreatening to me. I know people love them but yeah, it’s odd how far off the mark they went and reflect how poor some of the films are.
So I guess I’d go:
Halloween 1.
Halloween 2.
Halloween 5 poster mask.
Zombie pre-buried mask.
And that’s about it. I switch between liking 1 or 2 more all the time.
If you like the h5 poster mask, that would mean you also dig the H4 poster since its the same image. The image used in those are from a pic with DW wearing the mask.
Allot of the masks are just god awful, these I think are the best of the bunch. I just love the rotting style to the RZ look, makes Michael look so intense, and for a costume for Halloween it does stand out, especially the H2 Dream Sequence look
