The Shiny ones are from the H78 Regular and Poster Knives, not the 2018 one. Though the preview/catalog photo makes it look too plastic-y.

Looks good. Hope the H78 knife doesn’t have the shine to it. Anyone know if TOTS plans on doing an Elrod knife replica? I know they have the foam one but I want one that looks more realistic like this

Does anyone actually have pics of a super shiny 78 knife bc I handled one at hauntcon and it was not super shiny, it looked and felt like real metal. I’m not talking about the poster knife
I have yet to see a production copy of the 78 knife. It was said though that the knife will have the same finish as the poster knife, which would imply that it will be chrome/shiny looking. The 2018 knife never had a shiny look about it in any of the photos or things I’ve seen, so it’s no surprise that it isn’t.
Even if the 78 knife is shiny, it won’t take much to rough it up and kill the shine a bit. For 20 dollars, there isn’t much to complain about for a true to size replica of that knife.
It will take ten minutes or less to dull down the shine, so for me it’s not a deal breaker. We shall see soon enough. Sure is taking it’s sweet old time getting that one out though.

I remember the person had a pic of the shiny H1 poster knife. He said he didn’t have time to get a pic of the 78 knife too. But did confirm it was shiny.

That was me, only snagged the photo of the poster knife from someone who went to the ToTS Headquarters(?) and took photos of the various things they had, one of them being the H78 and Poster knives which has this tacky reflective chrome finish on the blade. This was shared on the ToTS Fan-Club Page on FB, was taken down by ToTS hours later.

How long is that 2018 knife HaddonfieldBoogeyman? Not just blade length, but the whole knife itself from end to end?
