Hello all, I recieved my 2018 Myers mask finally and I’ve been attempting to rework it myself. First, I used a dremel to get all the original paint off, then I base coated it with a dark brown wash. Then, I went over it with an off white mix (yes I used latex), then I just filled in the details with a tiny brush and added some extra weathering. I like it but it’s not completely accurate in my eyes. Any help, advice and feedback would be appreciated. Thank you.
Looks good.
Hey, good job man. Heres some constructive criticism, I’d say go a bit lighter on the weathering around the eyes, ears, and lips. I think that would help a lot, looks pretty good though.

the contrast between white mask and black lines is so extreme it looks like a comic book.
(not trying to be critical but it looks very ‘painted’, not weathered. Like black lines were drawn on the mask.)
Good luck.
