Ok so here I am a new member and loving the forums. Lots of great information here. So much so that you guys have inspired me to be creative or attempt to anyway. I decided to practice on my TOTS H2 mask. This is the first look of some Dremel work in the eye cuts and nostril holes. Also did a new base coat in Acrylic. Will post more with progress! Also…looking for ideas on the rehair.
Looking good man!
Definitely looks good so far man! I know dremel work can be intimidating but those cuts look great
Looking great dude!
Which dreml tip/attachment do you use to trim the eyes?
Looking great!
Cone shaped sanding tip. And a very steady hand!
It’s incredible what a little work can do, I can’t believe that was actually a tots mask.
Thanks Grizzly. I’m just a collector and a failing artist. Haha. But yes you are correct. A little attention to detail will go a long way. The TOTS sculpt is solid. What I find intriguing is that you can make it your own and who cares if it looks like crap?!
There’s a glue called E6000, its great for hairing masks, TOTS uses it it dries strong and perfectly clear
Looks good. Tots is def. A good mask to customize. I have a tots hospital and right after I got it I dirtier it up a bit with a soft charcoal pencil. Basically all I did was rub it between index finger and thumb and started shading. I pinched the corners of the eyes, pinched the bottom tip of nose, accented the cheek bones and voila!!..took less than 5 min and actually looks like an custom made Indy mask.

Thanks for the great info guys! More to come soon…
Looks amazing bro!
Excellent stuff JS. You’re brave going for the hair ! I just went the spray/mat/gel/cut route
I had a go at mine as well (see in Projects folder). Never done any mask mods before but was really happy with how it came out.
All the TOTS masks seem to mod really well going by all the great posts on here of Elrods, 2018s, Kirks, H2s etc
