TOTS H20 Rehaul by me

I got this mask two days ago, a friend gave it to me for free since he didn’t need it anymore so why not? Saved me couple bucks. He spray painted it white which i had to peel it off all the way (it was peeling by itself anyway). I gone ahead and repainted this already and it’s basically done, just need the hair then it’s done. I really like this mask, great addition to my collection :myers: :myers

Thank you man

Well done man!

Very good job! The TOTS H20 is one of their worst masks imo, but you made it look great!

Thank you for all the kind words

How did you go about removing the factory paint? It looks like you were just ripping it off in that first post, which is what I’ve been doing with my TOTS h78, but there are a few areas that are just an absolute pain to get off. I’ve been told a dremel with a felt tip does the trick, but I’ve heard paint thinner works as well. What approach did you take?

The paint that i ripped off is not the factory paint, it’s the paint that my friend did on it before he gave it to me. I did not peeled the factory paint at all, i don’t think it’s really necessary unless it’s something like H40 mask (but i didn’t do it as well because it’s a pain). I just etch the surface by scrubbing it with scotch brite sponge (the rough part) to give the mask some “teeth” for the paint to stick.
