so my H40 tots knife has arrived and to be honest I thought it’s really nice apart from it feels small??? Just almost a kids size kitchen knife. So I decided to use some plastic I have which is very similar thickness to the original. I added over an inch and it seems more appropriate now.
Believe it or not it’s the actual size of the knife in the film. I have the real knife and it’s only about a milometer difference in size. I can do a comparison photo later when I get home. It’s not a big knife.
Yeah not sure why they went with a smaller knife in the 2018 film, maybe just due to it being closer to what most people have in their kitchen these days. Must of realized it after the fact because the knives in the bts photos from Halloween Kills are much bigger.
Yeah it’s a Henkels Classic 8" Chef Knife that was used in the film. I was hoping to be home last night as I am out of town with the wife and son, we came out to the Halloweekends at Cedar Point but didn’t get going until late afternoon, so we just opted to stay over instead of the long drive home in the middle of the night. So I will be home later today and I will get that comparison photo for you.
If for anything to show you it’s actually a pretty accurate replica. As I said the real knife is only longer by a tiny margin, maybe a millimeter (not milometer, stupid smart phone auto suggest) or centimeter roughly. So it’s definitely an accurate representation.
