Just wondering if anyone has done a rehaul on a TOTS H5 yet. Anybody else digging the sculpt of it? Maybe a nose appliance to add on as well during the rehaul? Also curious as to what the size is going to be for it.
This is an appliance I did for mine,not perfect yet. still gonna do a full rehaul when I get the time. The sculpt is cast from an SSN revenge,or ghastly productions, something like that maybe?.it definitely has ties to the original KNB movie mold. Just can’t be sure what generation cast it would be. Looks pretty damn good though.
I’ve remembered there being a size difference with Ghastly’s (slightly bigger) compared to ToTS.
the tots h5 already has the Nose appliance doesn’t it?
There is a small faint line that’s been retooled in the sculpt to mimic the edge of the nose appliance,but the nose,lips and chin are the standard original mold look before the appliance. It looks great either way honestly.
The TOTS H5 is fantastic in my opinion. The crazy thing is it didn’t look that great in the catalog. It’s one of the best H5’s I’ve ever seen, and that’s amazing considering it’s a mass produced mask for $60. Not sure why they didn’t add the nose appliance though.
I have a TOTS H5 and wouldn’t touch a thing with it. It’s incredible.

I don’t really get why either,maybe they plan on releasing it as a separate piece(doubtful but never know) but I went ahead and did one anyways. Alittle strange to add the line to some on the sculpt but not change anything else but it looks great none the less.real happy with mine
Glad to hear the good reviews, just still a little concerned on the size. My H78 tots fit perfectly and I have a 24 in. head. Never heard of a Ghastly H5, how much bigger is it?
Not sure about the Ghastly, but the TOTS H5 is going to be a tight fit for you as it’s considerably smaller than the H78. I have a 24" head as well and my H5 is about as tight as I can tolerate.
To be fair though, I would say the size is screen accurate, as it was really tight on Shanks, and that’s even after having the slit in the back of the mask cut all the way to almost the top of his head. That’s why when he unmasks in the movie he simply pulls it off from the top because the slit is that high up on it. Which of course was done to make it fit him better.
Had anyone here tried raising the back slit of the H5 all the way high like the screen-used mask?
I did. Fits me a lot better now. Still hugs my face but it’s not cutting off circulation like before. Plus now I can take it on and off like in the movie! Lol
I only took the gamble of trying it because I have my pre-order copy coming as well. I did it to the Party City copy I got back in July. The TOTS pre-order copy shipped over the weekend so that will be coming soon.
It actually worked out well. I just cut the slit a little, tried it on, then cut some more and kept doing that process until it was perfect, then punched the hole at the top of the slit to finalize it.
I’m assuming you probably have about the same size head as me? Lol
I had to slit my ssn revenge right up the back to get it to fit. it’s a small mask…
