The blood makes that hole look a little bigger than it is. I’ve seen 2 hero copies one with blood one without and the hole is not gaping, but it’s no tiny one either.

That’s the conclusion I drew in my last comment, that the blood makes it look larger. When watching it at speed especially, since it moves by so fast.
As for the mass production version of the mask based on this scene, it’s a cash grab, and it’s not just Zephro to blame. Justin Mabry is the co-founder and art director of Tots, so he is to blame just as much as Zephro for the cash grab. Yet I have not seen one person criticize him, it all goes to Zephro.
And that goes for anything Tots produces that people have issues with, they all single out Zephro, but everyone’s favorite Myers mask maker gets a free pass, because he’s Mabry. It’s amusing to me lol.
Justin has not been going anywhere and everywhere commenting on peoples opinions the way that Chris has.
I just don’t understand why they can’t redo the 2018 mask and give it a better paint job instead. That’s really all it needs to be a good mask and they have the time now that Halloween is over and the demand has gone down.

Good point, and even more of a reason not to just shit on Tots just because Zephro is an ass. I think it’s unviersally accepted that Zephro is an ass. But when you have people talking about boycotting Tots, they are boycotting Mabry as well. How about this instead, just stay away from Zephros social media, boycott him not the whole company. We know he’s an ass and says some bullshit. So just avoid him!
We are talking about mass produced products here. I can tell you anytime I go to Burger King for a Whopper, the son of a bitch doesn’t look a thing like it does in the ads for it. But I still eat the son of a bitch. This is every company that produces mass product. It’s no different anywhere else, so if folks are boycotting that, then they will have to boycott a shitload more than just Tots if that’s what gets their panties in a bunch.

look people the scene was supposed to be much longer with the wound being obvious during the ending and thats what tots had planned on with the release of the mask.they were way to far along in its development when they found out it had been basically cut from the film.this wasnt a cash grab by chris it was the film makers who cut it .and for the guy who wants another company to do myers masks shut the hell up because obviously you have not payed much attention to what other companies have done.the other companies are the reason we have indy artists because getting a good myers mask was impossible unless you dropped big bucks.

When compared to what we used to get, the Tots masks look like the fine art of Michaelangelo, and no not the turtle, but he’s pretty badass too lol.
But growing up in the 80s and 90s, I know all to well that I want Tots to continue their production of these masks, they are worlds better than seeing ol blue lips puckering up!
i have never understood the hate tots gets on here they make quality masks at great prices.are they perfect no but it does’nt take much to make them outstanding.as for chris is an ass stuff he has never been anything but great to me even to the point of sending me a pic of the gun shot mask a month before he showed it off to the world.and as for the c&d letters bullshit well i have emailed all the major guys like nick from handiboy terry at cgp and nicholas at nag studios and none of them have ever had a problem with tots.the only proof anyone has is a c&d letter sent to a guy doing got masks on ebay.not hardly the chris is gonna shut down the indy myers community these jerks claim.
Had alot of people scratching they’re heads as to why there was a square hole in the mask. I seen the movie in the theatre 3 times an it didn’t show up good at all. Really covered in the darkness. They should of just left it out period. Looks so off looking. Think last thing we want is another hobo style mask with holes all over it. Just stupid looking for a Myers mask. Seems like everytime something is good somebody wants to f it up, referring to square hole of course.
Maybe in the new Halloween 3 Myers will get a new mask. Can’t stand the fact of another falling apart mask that was badass looking.
Another reason why I hope they leave it alone, no sequel. The mask is great but now that hole in it makes me think of RZ H2…ugh…
The ending to the movie is a lot different then originally planned so I’m guessing they made the mask based on that. Originally Laurie was going to die and Myers gets away similar to the 1978 movie. They were also going to recreate the ending of the 1978 movie as the opening scene. I’m glad they didn’t do that, but that’s probably why they made 2 masks and it looks a lot different then what is seen in the movie.

And make a bigger one at the same time. I’d consider that a big step in apologizing for everything they’ve done wrong with the H18 release.

Agreed I like having a bit of wiggle room in my head for the mask. I was sweating way too much while wearing the 2018 one.
